Veterans Assistance Terminal

The proposed Veterans Assistance Terminal spans the final stop of the LA Metro D Line extension at the West LA Veterans Affairs Campus. The position of a terminal grants an opportunity to form a central hub for veterans in Los Angeles. A 100,000 square foot deck spans the open Metro station at the same height of the adjacent 405 freeway. This deck is reserved for the direct assistance to veterans with concerns of housing, health, and community. Supporting the deck, there are office spaces for organizations working to assist veterans, a general store, and a train concourse with ample spaces to loiter.
